Welcome to our site and a journey toward Mental Health management and treatment. Melissa and I have struggled with depression our entire lives and have been through several types of treatments both in therapy and medicinal. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and that of professionals as well. We hope you will take time to read these articles and begin to transform your life as you now know it.

We are not board certified therapists, nor do we provide treatments. We research professionals, scientific cases, and use our own experience to communicate Mental Health news and treatments. Our goal is to drive engagement for this disease and spread the knowledge. Suicide rates are high for depression patients, we want to be part of reducing that statistic.
The CDC reported 48,183 suicides in 2021, the number increased in 2022 to 49,449.

John Dion
I was born in Boston Massachusetts and had been a life long resident. I was a victim of sexual abuse as a child, drug poisoning at age thirteen, which lead to being in a coma for ten days, and lost my dad at the age of seventeen. All of this trauma has caused severe depression, seizures, problems with my career and personal life. I am where I am today because of the personal baggage collected over the years, it is hard work but worth it. I have two dogs, Yaz- a Husky and Snow- a great Pyrenees. And now Melissa and I have four together! Crazy fun!
Melissa Beauchemin
I was born and raised in Massachusetts as well and went to school for nursing and am currently an LPN. My career has led me to see many cases of mental health issues, including my brother, who took his life at age 24 due to Schizophrenia, trauma that left a big gap in our family. As an adult mom of two grown children, I was physically abused in my second marriage and that has left an intangible scar for life. But by practicing our beliefs, I am able to manage it. My babies are Colby, a five year old fun loving, animated pup!!! and Sophie, a fifteen year old Maltese. Together with John and our fur babies, we are making it!!!
